Taisei

Taisei is a fan game inspired by the Touhou Project, which was released in 1997 by Team Shanghai Alice, in the bullet hell genre. A bullet hell is a game where you have to shoot at everything in sight, like a mindless and even more frenetic shoot 'em up where the bullets fly nonstop. So not only do you have to kill your enemies, but you also have to dodge their fire.

Taisei is set in the world of the Touhou Project, but it's not a continuation or a reinterpretation. It has six phases filled with action, each of which has four levels of difficulty. So if you think you've mastered one, don't get cocky until you've tried a harder level of difficulty. In addition, you'll find a boss and a mid-boss in each level, so don't get complacent.

In Taisei, you'll have up to three characters at your disposal, which you'll need to level up, because they start out very weak. The controls are customizable, and you can even use a gamepad if you prefer to play with a controller.
